I'm still working on a "rebrand" of my e-portfolio with the primary purpose beign to make it more accessible. In the meantime, I am going to stop putting off my activity, so here is "what I read this week," a place to dump articles and things I have read that I either have not yet had a chance to review, or will not be reviewing.

The first is an article from 2axend's blog by Corey Axelrod entitled "The Design Flaw: Moving B/ERGs from Good Intent to Real Impact, published 30/10/2025. https://2axend.com/the-design-flaw-moving-b-ergs-from-good-intent-to-real-impact/

Next was another article from the same company. I did have a few of them sitting in my inbox, hence no longer procrastinating... This one was published 23/10/2025 entitled "From Advocacy to Action: How B/ERGs Can Chamption Inclusion and Accessibility" https://2axend.com/from-advocacy-to-action-how-b-ergs-can-champion-inclusion-and-accessibility/

Articles in my inbox seem to be the best way to get me to read them! The next 2axend blog post to come through made me wish I could get a degree or certificate in finance or something that could help me have the higher register language that Corey uses in the article: https://2axend.com/capital-vs-operational-the-accounting-bias-that-undermines-communication-access/

The last one of the month was a video recommended by someone I work with quite a bit. As I shifted my commute from NH into Boston to be more productive by taking a shorter drive and a longer train, it was the perfect thing to start on my way home, and a great reminder: https://www.pbs.org/video/why-sign-language-was-banned-in-america-bpyzwv/
