I love to spend time with my family, friends, and my dog Oscar, exercising, camping, traveling, or having socially distant visits. We love video calls and video games!
My family works together on an ongoing fundraiser called The Tour to Endure where we support charities. Our little organization has cycled, hiked, and ran all around the USA. I am very fortunate to come from a very active family that is passionate about helping others!
I am currently training to run the Great North Run in England, the largest half marathon event in the world and my first running event abroad.
I am also an avid podcast listener--I love the way that podcasts turn passive time into active learning (#HearingPrivilege). I listen while I am commuting or working my side-hustle jobs.
I annually use all of my vacation time away from my work to explore the UK with my partner and cannot wait until it is safe to do so again, and I've been using up my free time lately learning spoken Spanish, French, and British Sign Language online. Even in my free time, I'm all about lifelong learning!
